  1. For stuffing, in a medium skillet, cook onion in butter until
  2. Tender but not brown.
  3. Stir in the Marsala, sherry or broth; salt; paprika; thyme; and white pepper.
  4. Transfer the ingredients to a large bowl.
  5. Add bread crumbs, celery, cherries, and pecans; toss
  6. To mix well.
  7. Drizzle with the chicken broth; toss and combine well.
  8. Place stuffing into turkey cavity.
  9. Roast turkey as you normally do.
  10. Out of the turkey, place stuffing in casserole and bake until well heated and cooked through
