Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 425°F .
  2. Grease large baking sheet.
  3. In large bowl combine flour, baking powder, salt
  4. With pastry blender or two knives cut in butter until resembles coarse crumbs.
  5. Stir in Parmesan and 3/4 cup cheese.
  6. Add mustard to dry ingredients, along with mixed chives.
  7. Add milk and mix lightly with fork until mixture clings together and forms a soft dough. Turn dough onto lightly floured surface and knead 5 to 6 times.
  8. Divide dough in half and by hand, shape one half of dough into a 7 inch round.
  9. Cut into 6 wedges.
  10. Repeat with remaining dough.
  11. Place scones 1 inch apart on greased baking sheet.
  12. Pierce top with tines of fork. Brush tops with water and sprinkle on remaining cheese. Bake scones 15 to 18 minutes or until golden brown.
  13. Serve warm with butter.
