Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar , packed
  • 1 (12 oz) box crispix cereal
  • 1 cup almonds

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 275°F
  2. Spray large roasting pan with cooking spray.
  3. In a medium-sized microwave-safe bowl, mix butter, corn syrup and brown sugar.
  4. Microwave on High for 2 minutes or until butter melts.
  5. Place the cereal, pecans and almonds in a large plastic bag (or large bowl).
  6. Pour in the melted butter mixture and shake gently until the cereal and nuts are coated.
  7. Place mixture into prepared pan.
  8. Baked in preheated oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
  9. Let cool, stirring occasionally to prevent large clumps from forming.
