Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp cream
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup oatmeal
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Melt caramels, cream and butter in a double boiler.
  2. Mix together: butter,flour,oatmeal,sugar, soda and salt mix well.
  3. Put 1/2 of this mixture in 9x13 pan and press down in pan; bake for 10 minutes 350.
  4. Remove from oven and pour caramel sauce over baked crust.
  5. Sprinkle with the remaining crumbs.
  6. Sprinkle chocolate chips over top and bake 15 minutes 350.
