Cake Rita's Chocolate Pound Cake

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 lb butter
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 3 cup sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp cocoa
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Cream together butter and shortening
  2. Add sugar and eggs
  3. Sift dry ingredients together and add vanilla
  4. Add alternately with milk to creamed mixture
  5. Bake in a tube pan at 325* for about 80 min.
