Ingredients:

  • 2 cup. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2/3 cup. shortening
  • 2 cup. brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsps. vanilla
  • 1 or 2 tbsps. water

Directions:

  1. Sift dry ingredients together.
  2. Cream butter, sugar and eggs and vanilla.
  3. Blend in flour mixture and water.
  4. Then add nuts and chips.
  5. Pour in greased pan and bake in 350 oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
