Butternut Pineapple Cake

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar , packed
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs

Directions:

  1. Mix and pour into a buttered 9x13 pan -
  2. Then take 1/4 cup packed brown sugar and sprinkle on top -
  3. Bake at 350* for 45 minutes.
  4. TOPPING:.
  5. 2/3 cup sugar.
  6. 1/2 cup evaporated milk.
  7. 1/2 cup butter.
  8. Combine these three ingredients and bring to a boil and boil for 3 minutes.
  9. Add 1/2 cups nuts and 1 tsp vanilla.
  10. Pour over hot cake.
