Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 4 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk

Directions:

  1. Combine dry ingredients. Set aside.
  2. Combine eggs, buttermilk, and melted butter.
  3. Stir liquid ingredients into dry ingredients to form a stiff batter.
  4. Drop tablespoons into simmering stew.
  5. Cover and simmer 20 minutes.
