Bub's Orange and Ginger Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz cranberries ( usually 1 bag)
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar or 1 tbsp molasses
  • 1/4 tsp ginger
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg

Directions:

  1. Combine cranberries, cinnamon stick, all sugars and OJ in non-stick pan and bring to a boil. Reduce to slow roll, stirring every 5 minutes (very important).
  2. After 15 minutes, add nutmeg and ginger.
  3. Cook until thick and chunky.
