Broiled Bananas à La Ponce

Ingredients:

  • 4 bananas , cut in half lengthwise
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup sugar-free pineapple preserves (use topping of your choice)

Directions:

  1. Turn on broiler.
  2. Arrange bananas in shallow baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle with brown sugar or splenda.
  4. Dot with butter or margarine.
  5. Place under broiler 2-3 minutes or until bubbly and bananas are glazed.
  6. Serve with a dollop of yogurt and pineapple topping(or one of your choice).
  7. Top with nuts.
  8. Enjoy!
