Ingredients:

  • 6 cup bread
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1-1/4 cup dark brown sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 dash(es) salt

Directions:

  1. Heat milk until warm over medium heat. Add butter until melted, taking care not to allow milk to boil. In separate bowl, beat the eggs, sugar, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract and milk mixture. Place the bread into a baking pan and cover with the liquid mixture. Cover the pan with foil and bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Remove cover and broil for 5-10 additional minutes until top is browned.
