Blackberry Mush

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup blackberry
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/3 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup sugar

Directions:

  1. Combine berries and 1 cup water in saucepan. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, combine corn starch and 1/3 cup water until smooth.
  3. Stir corn starch/water mixture in to berries and stir until thickened.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Add sugar and mixture until smooth.
  6. Pour into 1 quart dish and cool.
  7. Serve with milk or vanilla ice cream.
