Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 inch slices goat's cheese
  • 2 rashers bacon - your favourite kind

Directions:

  1. Wash and top the figs
  2. Cut them into quarters - but not right to the bottom, so they stay in one piece.
  3. Open the figs slightly and stuff the centre with the cheese
  4. Put back together and wrap the bacon around the sides, securing with a cocktail stick.
  5. Bake for about 15 minutes in the centre of a moderate oven. (Depends on size of figs and thickness of bacon)
  6. Remove the cocktail sticks before serving.
