Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Toast any raw grains in the oven for about 5 min. at 400 degrees, mixing half-way thru
  2. Line 13x9 inch pan with foil to spread granola in
  3. Mix all dry ingredients in very large bowl, or stock pot (I like to use my 8 qt. pot)
  4. Heat all glaze ingredients in heavy sauce pan on stove top at medium heat
  5. Bring to boil, reduce heat stirring constantly, simmer 2 minutes
  6. Pour glaze over dry ingredients, mix well
  7. Spread in foil lined pan, smooth flat with back of spoon
  8. Smooth a LOT, as you want the grains to be packed together so the bars don't fall apart!
  9. Let sit for 2 hours
  10. Remove granola in foil and place on counter, using a large knife, cut into bars
  11. I like to individually wrap the bars in sandwich bags, because i found out the hard way, that they stick together!
