Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped nuts , optional

Directions:

  1. Cream butter with sugar.
  2. Beat in eggs and mix until fluffy.
  3. Sift flour with baking soda and salt, then add to egg mixture.
  4. Stir in mashed bananas, sour cream and vanilla.
  5. Pour into greased bread pans. Let stand 10 minutes. Bake at 325 degrees for 30-45 minutes.
