Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Combine sugar, juice and star anise in a saucepan.
  2. Stir over low heat till sugar dissolves.
  3. Increase heat, bring to the boil, cook for 7 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat, add berries, gently stir. cool.
  5. Serve over ice cream.
