Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp. sugar
  • 3 tbsp. flour
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 cup skim milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. Combine berries (I use a frozen mix of strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and blackberries), 3 tbsp. flour and 3 tbsp. sugar in the dish you plan to bake the cobbler in.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine cup of flour, 1/2 cup of sugar and baking powder. Add a pinch of salt if desired.
  4. Combine milk and butter in a jug (it helps to warm the milk up a little so that the butter stays melted). Add this mixture to the flour mixture and mix well.
  5. Spread batter over top of fruit.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
