  1. First fry the chopped onions untill soft
  2. Empty the onions out of the pan into an oven proof casarole dish and brown your Beef (Tip : Put your beef inyo a sandwich bag add salt and pepper And enough flower to coat the beef shake it about in the bag and thats your beef seasoned and coated in flower to seal in the flavour : ) easy)
  3. Place the beef into the casarole dish
  4. Chop your carrots , throw into the casarole dish
  5. Quarter the mushrooms , Half the baby potatoes and throw them in as well
  6. Now in the pan you browned your meat in put in the guiness and bring to the boil add the chili powder and tomato puree simmer for 3 minutes and pore into the casarole dish
  7. Add the water and chicken stock to the casarole and mix everything about in the casarole
  8. DONT FORGET Season your casarole : ) good pinch of salt and a nice whack of black pepper
  9. Put your covered casarole dish in the oven at 180 degrees for two and a half hours Stir half way through cooking and keep an eye on it at the end of cooking If the sauce is too thick add a drop of water
  10. Mashed Potato
  11. Steam your spuds and mash with a drop of milk , pinch of salt and pepper easy : )
