BBQ Pork Chops

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 tbsp vinegar
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4-1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/8 tsp red pepper
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 -2 tsp liquid smoke
  • oil

Directions:

  1. Sauce: In pan combine water,vinegar,sugar,mustard,salt, pepper,and red pepper and onion.
  2. **You can add a small amount of lemon juice if desired.
  3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer uncovered 20 minutes.
  4. Stir in ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and liquid smoke and return to a boil.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Brown the chops on both sides and place in a casserole dish.
  7. Pour the sauce over the chops.
  8. Bake 350 25-30 minutes.
