Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp dry spices
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 tsp hot sauce
  • 1 small bay leaf

Directions:

  1. Stir together all ingredients; cover and let stand 8 hours. Remove bay leaf. (Sauce is intended for basting ribs only.)
