Barley and Lentil Soup

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup lentils
  • 1/2 cup onion
  • 4 oz lean beef
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Cook barley- 1 hour
  2. Cook lentils- 1 hour
  3. Combine and add 1/2 cup onion chopped and 3 cups of water.
  4. Cook carrots separately or add to soup after cutting into carrot coins.
  5. Add 2 tsp. instant boullion.
