Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour milk
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Mix shortening, sugar, eggs & bananas.
  2. Separately mix flour & soda together.
  3. Alternately add milk, flour & soda to shortening, sugar, etc.
  4. Add soda, salt and vanilla.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.
