Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°.
  2. Cut the squash in half.
  3. Scoop out the seeds and strings.
  4. Place the squash on a baking sheet.
  5. Place the bacon in the squash and divide the syrup between the halves.
  6. Bake uncovered for 45-60 minutes, until the squash is tender.
  7. Baste with the juices in the center of the squash once or twice.
  8. Add a little butter if it seems too dry.
