Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 well-ripened bananas
  • 4 tsp buttermilk
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Cream together butter / sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Add eggs; beat well
  3. Add mashed bananas, beat well
  4. Add buttermilk, flour, nuts and vanilla
  5. Bake in loaf pan for 45 minutes - 1 hour - pass straw test
  6. Glaze:
  7. Mix together and pour over bread while still warm.
