Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup wheat bran
  • 1/2 cup wheat germ
  • 1/4 cup oat bran
  • 2 cups slivered almonds (optional or you may exchange for another type of nut)
  • 1 cup canola oil
  • 3/4 cup honey
  • 3/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 little salt (optional)
  • 1/4 cup vanilla

Directions:

  1. Stir above ingredients together in a large roasting pan and bake for 10 minutes.
  2. Stir.
  3. Bake another 10 minutes.
  4. Remove from oven.
  5. After removing from oven you may add dried fruits such as raisins, apricots, papaya, etc.
  6. Place in a glass jar or airtight tin to use immediatey.
  7. Put the remainder in freezer bags and freeze.
