Asparagus And Basil Whole Wheat Spaghettini

Ingredients:

  • 13 (my lucky #) asparagus spears, chopped
  • 1/2 of a 375g package of whole wheat speghettini
  • 1 tsp. dry chili flakes (it doesn'tsp make it hot it just adds a tingle to your mouth)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • pinch each of salt and pepper

Directions:

  1. Boil the water for the spaghettini
  2. Add the spaghettini , the asparagus and the garlic to the water, cook for 8-10 min. (depending on if you like el dante or not)
  3. Strain and put back into pot
  4. Add olive oil, chili's, 1/2 parmesan cheese, basil
  5. Serve in bowl's with the rest of the cheese sprinkled on top of each serving.
