Ingredients:

  • 2 quarts apple cider
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 (2-inch) piece ginger
  • 1 (12-oz) bag fresh cranberries

Directions:

  1. ** Not for consumption.
  2. Combine all of ingredients in a large pot and bring to a boil over medium heat. Once the mixture is boiling, turn heat down to low and bring to a gentle simmer. The cider will permeate the house with a warm and inviting holiday scent. Add more apple cider as needed when the cider evaporates.
  3. This recipe can also be reduced by half and prepared in a fondue pot so that it can be placed in a room other than the kitchen.
