Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup applesauce

Directions:

  1. In mixing bowl, cream sugar and butter.
  2. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  3. Combine dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture alternately with applesauce.
  4. Mix just until combined.
  5. Fill greased or paper lined muffin cups 2/3 full.
  6. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes.
