Quick Applesauce Muffins

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups bisquick
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup applesauce
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp butter or 2 tbsp margarine, melted

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Combine Bisquick, 1/4 cup sugar, and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
  3. Add applesauce, milk, egg and oil, and beat vigorously for 30 seconds.
  4. Fill greased muffin pans 2/3 full and bake 12-15 minutes.
  5. Cool slightly and remove from pans.
  6. Mix remaining sugar and cinnamon.
  7. Dip tops of muffins in melted butter, then in sugar-cinnamon mixture.
