Ingredients:

  • 4 large apples
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp sugar

Directions:

  1. Peel and core the apples and cut into 8ths.
  2. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  3. Layer apple slices in a 12 by 8 pan in alternating rows.
  4. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over the apples.
  5. Combine the flour and brown sugar, then cut the butter into the flour mix. Use your fingers to make little balls in the mixture. Spread over the top of the apples and pack down.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes and let cool.
