Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 and grease and flour an 8 x 8 inch pan.
  2. Completely mix together sugar and egg, then whisk in water and vanilla.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together flour, salt and baking powder. Stir into the wet ingredients.
  4. With a spatula, spread batter evenly into the prepared pan.
  5. Place the apple slices in the batter on edge, about 3 nice rows. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon and bake for about 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
  6. Enjoy.
