Ingredients:

  • 1 lb butter
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 6 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • chopped nuts & raisins (optional)

Directions:

  1. Cream Butter and Sugar. Add eggs and vanilla mixing well. Add sifted dry ingredients and beat 3-4 minutes. Add chocolate chips and nuts. Mix. (or add 2 cups raisins and 1 1/2 cups of oatmeal).
  2. Bake on 350 degrees for 15-16 minutes. The cookies won't brown or look done , but don't over bake!
