Apple/Apricot Sauce for Pork

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in sauté pan, except lemon juice.
  2. Bring to gentle boil.
  3. Reduce heat to medium, cover, simmer until apples are soft (6-8 minutes).
  4. Stir in lemon juice.
  5. Let cool completely then remove cloves, cinnamon and star anise.
  6. Serve with any pork dish.
