Angel Hair Pasta With Tomatoes and Basil

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Begin to boil water for pasta.
  2. Peel and cut onion into 1/4 inch pieces.
  3. Rinse basil and cut into thin strips.
  4. Put onions and basil into a large bowl.
  5. Add garlic, tomatoes, olive oil, salt and pepper.
  6. Set mixture aside.
  7. Cook pasta according to package.
  8. Drain pasta and add to bowl.
  9. Mix well.
  10. **Can use 2 pounds of fresh tomatoes insted of canned. Tastes much better.
  11. Drop tomatoes in boiling water for 30 sec then pull off skins. Cut tomatoes into 1/2 inch pieces.
