Amish Hash Browns Potatoes - Homemade

Ingredients:

  • 4 large red potatoes
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp oil

Directions:

  1. Boil the potatoes until medium soft.
  2. Shred in food processor along with onion.
  3. Add remaining ingredients.
  4. Heat butter and oil in skillet, add potatoes.
  5. Cook over low heat 15 minutes until bottom is brown.
  6. Cut into quarters and turn pieces over.
  7. Add more butter or oil if pieces stick.
  8. Cook until brown.
