Ingredients:

  • 1/2 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 tsp almond essence

Directions:

  1. Mix together all dry ingredients
  2. Whisk together all wet ingredients
  3. Add dry to wet, until just combined
  4. Roll out dough into a log with a 1-inch diameter; then cut dough into 3/4-inch pieces.
  5. Roll the pieces into perfect balls and place on a greased baking sheet for 11mins at 350degrees.
  6. Remove from oven, cool on wire racks and decorate as you wish (with icing or confectioner's sugar) or eat plain.
