Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 lb hubbard squash pared and cut into 1' pieces
  • 2 yams pared and cut into 1 pieces
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves

Directions:

  1. Cook and stir onion in oil in skillet over medium heat until tender.
  2. Stir in remaining ingredients and heat to boiling then reduce heat and cover.
  3. Simmer 10 minutes then simmer uncovered stirring occasionally for 5 minutes.
