Yummy Autumn Apple Cake

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp vanillla extract

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl add the apples and beaten eggs and mix well with a wooden spoon. Add remaining ingredients and stir to blend. Pour into a greased and floured 9x13 inch pan and bake for approximately 1 hour at 325*. Check with a toothpick, it may take a few more minutes to finish depending on your oven.
  2. Cool.
  3. I like to serve my cake dusted with powdered sugar and topped with a dollop of fresh whipped cream!
