Directions:

  1. IN LARGE STOCK POT SAUTE ONION, GREEN PEPPER, CELERY AND GARLIC IN OLIVE OIL UNTIL ONION IS TENDER.
  2. ADD GROUND BEEF AND COOK AND STIR UNTIL MEAT IS BROWNED.
  3. ADD REMAINING INGREDIENTS, COVER AND SIMMER 2 HOURS, STIRRING OCCASIONALLY.
  4. +++FORHOTTER CHILI, ADD MORE RED PEPPER.
  5. PLACE RICE IN INDIVIDUAL BOWLS, IF DESIRED.
  6. LADLE CHILI OVER RICE.
  7. SPRINKLE SHREDDED CHEESE OVER TOP OF CHILI, IF DESIRED.
