Whole Wheat Honey Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 cup sifted all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Combine milk, honey, egg, and butter; beat well.
  2. Sift together dry ingredients in a large bowl; add milk mixture, stirring well.
  3. Spoon batter into a greased 7 1/2- x 3- x 2-inch loaf pan. Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes; remove from pan, and cool on wire rack.
