Way Off The Charts Batter Spoon Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup corn meal
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 heaping tsp baking powder
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp melted lard

Directions:

  1. Mix meal, salt and baking powder.
  2. Add egg beaten lightly, milk and enough boiling water to make a very thin batter then add butter and lard.
  3. Put in well greased baking dish and bake 35 minutes at 375.
