Vodka sauce from Paige Markiewicz

Ingredients:

  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 can hunt's tomato sauce ; 15 oz each
  • 1/4 cup vodka

Directions:

  1. Melt butter and saute onion until browned. Add 1/4 cup vodka. Boil until reduced by half. Add 2 cans tomato sauce. Simmer. Add 1 cup heavy whipping cream. Simmer until heated through. Serve with penne pasta and romano cheese.
