Very Easy Chicken With Orange Sauce

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In skillet with shortening, brown chicken on all sides.
  2. Sprinkle with 1 teaspoon salt.
  3. Add paprika.
  4. Arrange onion over top of chicken.
  5. Combine juice, brown sugar, parsley, soy, ginger and 1/4 cup of water; pour over chicken and onion.
  6. Cover and simmer until chicken is tender, 35-50 minutes.
  7. Serve over hot rice.
