Turkey a la King

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup diced pimento

Directions:

  1. In saucepan, melt butter.
  2. Cook onion until tender.
  3. Blend in Flour and salt.
  4. Add chicken broth and milk all at once.
  5. Cook, stirring constantly until think and bubbly.
  6. Add Turkey, mushrooms and pimento.
  7. Heat through.
  8. Add cheese, heat and stir until melted.
  9. Serve over biscuits or toast.
