Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 tbsp dried basil
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/3 lb bacon

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients, except bacon. Using hands, blend well. Place meat in a 9 inch pie plate and shape into an oval loaf. Cover with bacon slices. Bake 1 1/2 hours Carefully remove meatloaf from pie plate and place on cutting board to carve.
