Tomatoes And Onion Salad

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium videlia onions sliced(or other sweet onion)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp finley chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Directions:

  1. Layer the Tomatoes and onions in a shallow serving dish( I use a glass pie pan)
  2. Combine all other ingredients in a jar with a lid
  3. Shake well and pour over tomatoes and onion slices
  4. Cover and refrigerate for atleast 2 hours before serving
  5. I sometimes throw in some chopped fresh herbs depending on what I have growing on the patio
