Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup butter
  • fruit of your choice

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Melt butter in 13x9 dish in oven
  3. Meanwhile, mix together sugar, flour, and milk until smooth
  4. Remove butter from oven and pour batter over top
  5. Place fruit on top
  6. Bake for about 40 minutes until golden
  7. **if using can fruit, drain first**
  8. ***if using fresh fruit, sweeten first: about 1/4 cup sugar***
  9. **batter will bake up around fruit. if you want you can brush a little melted butter on top after baking and sprinkle with a little sugar and cinnamon...especially well with peaches**
