Ingredients:

  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 1 4.5 oz can chopped green chilies
  • 1 14 oz can corn
  • 2 14 oz cans pinto beans
  • 3 14 oz cans diced tomatoes
  • 1 1.25 oz package taco seasoning mix
  • 1 1.25 oz package dry ranch style dressing mix
  • 2 and 1/2 cups water
  • if you prefer it really spicy 2 hot peppers of your choice chopped

Directions:

  1. Brown the gound beef and onion together in a large soup pot
  2. Drain the grease well and return to the soup pot
  3. Add all the other ingredients and mix well
  4. Bring to a gentle boil over medium to high heat
  5. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes
  6. Terrific with a nice crusty garlicky bread and salad
