Swiss Pork Chops With Mustard Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp butter or 2 tbsp margarine
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 tbsp flour

Directions:

  1. Dry chops and cover with the flour, salt and pepper.
  2. Brown in hot butter on both sides, about 20 minutes.
  3. Add wine and lemon juice and simmer for about 45 or 50 minutes, or until tender. Remove to warm serving platter.
  4. Make mustard sauce. Stir flour into drippings in skillet until smooth.
  5. Stir in cream, mustard and cayenne.
  6. Boil, stirring 1 minute.
  7. Serve chops with sauce.
