Sweet & Spicey Candied Pecans

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb pecan halves
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp water

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 250.
  2. Sit aside pecans.
  3. Mix next 6 ingredients together in a large container with a lid.
  4. Mix egg white, vanilla, and water in a bowl big enough for the pecans to be tossed inches.
  5. Toss pecans in egg mixture.
  6. After pecans are well coated, transfer to the sugar mixture.
  7. Place top on the container with sugar and shake well to coat.
  8. Place coated pecans on a cookie sheet and bake at 250 for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
  9. Cool well and enjoy.
